《A Suffering Shepherd or A Flock of Suffering Sheep﹖》

                                     We tumble and fall,

                               He holds us all,

                               Wounds are over us all,

                               Heals and binds us is Our Lord,

                               Again we stand, because of His applause

                               We tumble and fall,

                               He holds us all,

                               Great pains He takes to give us force,

                               Sight of our Lord, we don’t live off,

                               Storm and rain, we are not afraid of﹒

If I can stop one Heart from breaking
I shall not live in Vain
If I can ease one Life the Aching
Or cool one Pain
Or help one fainting Robin
Unto his Nest again

Emily Dickinson is one of my favorite poet.
Her poetry penetrates into the depths of the human soul and mind.
The poem“If I can stop one Heart from breaking”moves me profoundly as it reveals her value system --- service to other as a central purpose in living.
